(Equivalent to the "Search & Replace" feature of text editors but on several files. Very useful for webmasters.)

(to get rid of all spyware on one's machine)

Multimedia (for Windows)

• VideoLAN

(a complete open source solution for video streaming that can also be used as a region free DVD player)

• Audacity

(an open source software for sound recording that can handle the very efficient free Ogg Vorbis format)
